Six weeks after Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery
Over a month after she underwent a planned abdominal surgery, the Princess of Wales is still doing well
Kate was hospitalized on January 16. The next day, Kensington Palace released a rare, personal statement
The palace has not disclosed why the royal needed surgery, but Bazaar did learn that her condition was not cancerous
Kate remained in the hospital for two weeks after the procedure
Kate has not been seen out in public since last December, when she, husband Prince William, and their three children
William has not spoken much about Kate’s condition, other than to thanked well-wishers in a speech earlier in February.
The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery.
